Hi, I’m Grace Pomroy.

Why MAMMAPROPHET?

Something that stirs in my heart is the need for mothers and fathers in the faith. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 4:15 (NKJV), “ For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.” Paul makes it clear here that the availability of teachers and those who are willing to give instruction is many. The problem is that few people are eager to give their lives to father and mother people in the kingdom. We get so busy with our lives and in our own heads that we forget that there are others out there.

Paul writes to the Thessalonian church about his experience with them, “we were like a mother feeding and caring for her own children. We loved you so much that we shared with you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too.” (1 Thessalonians 2:7-8, NLT). I want to see this heart come across the pages of this blog. I want to share Jesus because He is the reason for being. He gives life meaning and a relationship with Him is the best relationship you could ever have, but I also want to share myself with you. Paul shared the Gospel and his life with the Thessalonians.

As a prophet, I pray the Lord will give some insights and understanding along the way as the words of a MAMMA Prophet echo the heart of the Father and call you deeper into a relationship with Him. This is the first step in this vision of seeing mothers and fathers raised up, and discipleship made a priority.

I hope you come along on this journey with me to encounter a place to be mothered and encouraged. I hope you will part take of my life, and through interactions, I will part take of yours. If your heart wants a place to find home and belonging, I hope you get that here in these stories, encouragements, wisdom, and truths that flow from my life and what God has spoken to me. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
